About this Event

Lichens are everywhere, but they are experts at playing hide-and-seek. They look like crust on a tree or rock, but are actually tiny living organisms hiding right in plain site. Come take a closer look and see what secrets they’re keeping on this 1 mile hike.

You will use magnifying glasses to explore different forms of lichen up close!

Meet at Peak View trail. There is limited parking here. Additional parking available at the comfort station and Homestead trail.
