About this Event
Learn the art and science of sketching like a true botanist! We’ll cover the basics of botany and some scientific illustration techniques, then sketch one of the captivating plants growing right here at Golden Gate Canyon State Park.
We’ll meet inside the Visitor Center (92 Crawford Gulch Rd, Golden, CO 80403), in the Columbine Room. We'll have a brief presentation, then demonstrate techniques, and make beautiful botanical art together. All materials will be provided, and no prior experience necessary
NOTES:
Please arrive a few minutes early to get set up at an art station before the class begins.
A park pass is required for this event. If you do not have a pass, you can purchase one at the Visitor Center before the program starts.
