Quilled Pens Craft
Join Cheyenne Mountain State Park volunteers for this historic craft with turkey feathers!
About this Event
In honor of America’s 250th birthday, carve a quill pen and use ink exactly like they used to write our Declaration of Independence. The turkey feathers and ink are responsibly sourced. Learn the history of making pens and ink and how to write using your quill pen and ink. Please bring a sharp #11 X-Acto knife for this project, as supplies are limited. The rest of supplies should be provided, and registration is required.
