Tucked away in the rugged canyons of Disappointment Valley, the Spring Creek Basin herd roams completely wild and free across more than 20,000 acres of breathtaking public land. In this captivating, photo rich presentation, TJ Holmes will draw from her nearly two decades of on-the-ground documentation to introduce you to the real-life families, bands, and fierce bachelor stallions that call this high desert landscape home. You will discover the complex social hierarchies, daily struggles, and incredible resilience of these beautiful symbols of American heritage. Whether you are a wildlife photographer, a history buff, or someone who simply loves the romance of the open range, this program will leave you deeply inspired by Colorado's living legends.
