Cheyenne Mountain State Park is hosting an introductory plant identification class. This class is an opportunity to begin learning botanic identification and native plants.
About this Event
Plant Identification Basics is a beginner friendly course to recognizing and learning plants. In this short program we will learn resources, tools and techniques to begin learning more botany. Join us for a short lesson and an activity deigned to teach everyone how to begin using dichotomous keys, identification books and field guides.
Audience: Ages 7+
Dogs not permitted
Fee: Park entry fee required
Time duration: 1-2 Hours
Start time: 4:00 PM
