Boat ramp at Tarryall Reservoir opening May 22

PARK COUNTY, Colo. — Colorado Parks and Wildlife is opening the boat ramp at Tarryall Reservoir State Wildlife Area on May 22. The ramp will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursdays through Mondays. Only hand-launched vessels will be allowed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Any vessel on the water must be actively fishing in Tarryall Reservoir. Visitors must have a fishing license or an SWA pass

Aquatic nuisance species inspections will be available on site, as well as CPW offices or state parks. Boaters should help prevent the spread of aquatic nuisance species by cleaning, draining and drying any watercraft used in the state, even non-motorized vessels. A boater who has launched their vessel outside of Colorado is obligated to tell inspectors in order to prevent the spread of invasive species.
