Male visitor dies at John Martin Reservoir State Park
A 33-year old visitor at John Martin Reservoir State Park died Saturday, July 26, at approximately 10:30 p.m. The park is located near Hasty, Colo.

HASTY, Colo — A 33-year old male visitor was found non-responsive in the showers at John Martin Reservoir State Park at approximately 9 p.m. Saturday. The individual who discovered the man called 911 and started CPR.
A Colorado Parks and Wildlife Officer arrived within minutes and administered Narcan; a Bent County Deputy, Hasty McClave and Lamar firefighters and EMTs then arrived and continued life-sustaining measures before the Bent County Coroner was requested on-scene. The coroner pronounced the visitor deceased at 10:30 p.m. Saturday. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
