Media Statement: CPW releases final report on lethal removal efforts in Rio Blanco County


DENVER – Colorado Parks and Wildlife has completed and published a final report on lethal removal efforts in Rio Blanco County. This final report can be found on our website here.
This report includes information regarding DNA analysis that was conducted on samples gathered from the uncollared gray wolf in Rio Blanco County. These samples confirmed the uncollared wolf was the fifth yearling from the Copper Creek Pack.
