Media Statement: Cause of death confirmed for Colorado gray wolf 2507 in northwest Colorado


DENVER – The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) has confirmed that the investigation into the cause of death for male gray wolf 2507 has been completed.
USFWS’s investigation has determined that 2507 died from blunt force trauma sustained during a suspected vehicle collision. CPW has no further information on this incident.
