Media Advisory: Colorado Parks and Wildlife to host state park history book launch party


DENVER, Colo. – Colorado Parks and Wildlife will host a launch party to celebrate At Home in Nature: The History of Colorado’s State Parks, the first book to chronicle the history of the state parks. The party will be Friday, Sept. 20th from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Cherry Creek State Park swim beach area. Governor Jared Polis, current and former CPW staff, volunteers and other partners will be attending, as well as a few surprise guests. There will be food trucks, games and a chance to celebrate the historic book. 

Please note, this event is not open to the public due to limited parking availability.
