Looking for a new place to fish?
Browse and download our PDF maps that help anglers navigate the special regulations on some of Colorado's popular rivers, streams and lakes. These Colorado Parks and Wildlife maps depict special fishing rules for the areas listed below. We will be adding new maps in the future, so bookmark and return to this page before your next outing!
You may also like to visit the
Colorado Fishing Atlas
, the latest interactive mapping tool offered by Colorado Parks and Wildlife. It allows users to search for fishing opportunities by species, specific interest or proximity to your home or destination. Use the simple map interface to locate and view recommended opportunities for handicap accessible fishing access, stocked waters, boat ramps, special fishing regulations, stream gages (including links to real time data), sales agents and Gold Medal waters is included on top of Bing™ street maps, USGS topographic maps or high resolution color aerial photography.
Why do some waters have special regulations?
Special fishing regulations are designed to maintain the long-term welfare of state fishing waters, thereby providing more successful opportunities for anglers. Special regulations can include different bag limits, size limits and harvest restrictions than are in place in the rest of the state.
ATTENTION:
These maps are not a complete list of special regulations. Please refer to the current
Colorado Fishing
and
State Recreational Lands
brochures for complete fishing rules and regulations.
