From Hwy. 50 in La Junta, take Hwy. 109 S for 14 miles to USFS Rd. 2200 (sign for Vogel and Picketwire canyons). Take USFS Rd. 2200 approx. 4 miles W to USFS Rd. 2200.I. Take USFS Rd. 2200.I approx. 0.5 miles to SE corner of property.

Guillermo Ranch

From Walsenburg, go 15 miles NW on Hwy. 69 to Badito Junction. From Badito Junction, take CR 520 S for 6 miles to Major Ranch entrance. Then go W 1.25 miles on Bighorn Dr. (formerly CR 520.1); enters STL on SE corner, then traverses STL for 3 miles to W boundary.

Howard Creek

Iles Grove

TO WEST PARCEL: From Craig, go S on Hwy. 13 for 5.5 miles S of Hamilton to CR 49. Then go 1 mile S on CR 49 to parking area on W side of CR 49.
TO EAST PARCEL: From Craig, go S on Hwy. 13 to 4 miles S of Hamilton. Parking area off N side of Hwy. 13 at mile post 71.5.

From Hwy. 50 in Rocky Ford, take Hwy. 71 S for 5 miles to Hwy. 10. Take Hwy. 10 approx. 0.5 miles W to Hwy. 71 S, then take Hwy. 71 approx. 9 miles S to Hwy. 350. Take Hwy. 350 for 9 miles SW to CR 9, then take CR 9 approx. 0.5 miles S. CR 9 is W boundary of STL for 1 mile.

Lost Creek

From I-76, take Roggen Exit (exit 48) and go S on CR 73 for 3.5 miles to CR 18. Go W on CR 18 for 3 miles to CR 67. Turn N on CR 67 and go 1 mile to intersection of CR 67 and CR 20. Marked parking lot is approx. 0.25 miles N of intersection of CR 20 and CR 67.

Macfarlane Reservoir

From Walden, go S on Hwy. 125 for 18 miles to CR 28. Go 2.1 miles W to parking lot or go 0.3 miles W to two-track road. For access to W portion, take access road for 2.1 miles N. Go left at Y intersection, then go 0.7 miles to fence. Reservoir access also from BLM land.

Moosehead Mountain

From Hwy. 40 at mile post 5, go N on Harper’s Corner Rd. Access on BLM land from Harper’s Corner Rd. from mile post 6 (BLM trail 1520) to mile post 9.3. Or access from BLM land S of Moffat CR 16 at mile post 2.4 or 3.4. Access by foot or horseback only via BLM land.

Deer Haven

From Cañon City, go W on Hwy. 50 to Hwy. 9. Go 9 miles N to CR 11. Turn right and go 5.2 miles on CR 11 to Deer Haven Rd. Turn right on Deer Haven Rd. and go 0.8 miles to Thompson Mountain Rd. Turn right and go 0.7 miles to end of road.

East Timpas
