Agua Ramon State Trust Land

The State Trust Lands (STL) Hunting and Fishing Access Program includes more than 900,000 acres of land leased to Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) for seasonal public hunting and fishing opportunities. Most properties are open seasonally for hunting and fishing ONLY, unless specifically authorized for wildlife viewing. STLs are typically open from Sept. 1 through the end of February, unless noted otherwise and are closed to public access all other times of the year. A valid hunting or fishing license​ is required to access State Trust Lands in this program, and unauthorized use or activity on these lands may be subject to enforcement from CPW or local authorities.
From South Fork, go E on Hwy. 160 for 7 miles. Then turn N on CR 18 and go 1.4 miles to CR 15. Turn E and go 0.3 miles, then turn N onto CR 65 (USFS Rd. 650). Go 1.3 miles and turn W on USFS Rd. 630.2H.ACCESS #1: From CR 65/USFS Rd. 650, turn W on USFS Rd. 630.2H and follow to NE corner of property. ACCESS #2: From CR 65 (USFS Rd. 650), turn W onto USFS Rd. 630.2H. Continue to 630.2C and follow to NW corner of property.

Bald Mountain

TRACT 1: From Maybell, go N on CR 19 for 15 miles to CR 150. Go W on CR 150 for 0.5 miles. TRACT 2: From Maybell, go N on CR 19 for 10 miles to CR 71. Go W on CR 71 to CR 71S. Go S on CR 71S for 2.5 miles. TRACTS 3 & 4: From Maybell, go W on Hwy. 318 for 15 miles to CR 21. Go N on CR 21. Tract 3 is 9 miles N of Hwy. 318 and W of CR 21. Tract 4 is 14 miles N of Hwy. 318 and on both sides of CR 21.

Big Springs

From Ellicott: PARKING AREA 1: Go E on Hwy. 94 for 1.9 miles. Turn N onto Baggett Rd. for 1.4 miles. Parking lot on W side of Baggett Rd. PARKING AREA 2: Go E on Hwy. 94 for 1.9 miles. Turn N onto Baggett Rd. for 3 miles. Turn E onto Big Springs Rd. for 3.5 miles. Parking area on S side of Big Springs Rd. PARKING AREA 3: Go E on Hwy. 94 for 7 miles. Turn N onto Calhan Hwy. for 1.6 miles. Parking area on E side of Calhan Hwy.

Crooked Arroyo

From Hwy. 50 in Rocky Ford, take Hwy. 71 S for 5 miles to Hwy. 10, then take Hwy. 10 for 0.5 miles W to Hwy. 71 S. Take Hwy. 71 for 9 miles S to Hwy. 350. Take Hwy. 350 approx. 2.5 miles NE to CR 21. Take CR 21 approx. 4 miles S to CR N.Take CR N approx. 0.75 miles E to CR 21.75. Take CR 21.75 approx. 2.25 miles S to property (21.75 becomes 21.9). Property goes for 1 mile S to intersection of CR K.

Crow Valley

SECTION 24 (8N 64W): Go 10 miles W of Briggsdale on Hwy. 14 to CR 57. From USFS parking area at Hwy. 14 and CR 57, walk 1 mile E to property. SECTION 36 (9N 62W): Go 4 miles W of Briggsdale on Hwy. 14 to CR 69, then go 4−5 miles N on CR 69. Walk 1 mile E to W border of property. SECTION 36 (9N 64W): Go 8 miles W of Briggsdale on Hwy. 14 to CR 61, then go 3 miles N on CR 61 to CR 96. Walk 1 mile N to SE corner of property.

From Leadville, go S on Hwy. 24 approx. 3 miles to Hwy. 300. Go S for 2 miles on CR 11 and 11A until left fork onto two-track dirt road. Take left fork of two-track for 0.75 miles, following arrowed access signs. TO ACCESS E PORTION OF PROPERTY: Continue S past Hwy. 300 to mile marker 182.4 and turn into Crystal Lake fishing access loop. Take two-track dirt road S and W to fence and parking area at property sign. (GMU 48 is W of river; GMU 49 is E of river)

Little Muddy

From Denver, go E on I-70 for 33 miles toward Byers. Exit onto US-36 E and turn left on N Main St. Continue NE until N Main St. feeds into Hwy. 36. Continue E for 13 miles. Turn left on Hank’s Crossing Rd. and continue N for 9 miles. Turn right on E 96th Ave. and go E for 4.4 miles.

Note: Access By Foot Only. Vehicle Parking Only In Designated Area;# With A Max. Of 4 Vehicles. Caution: Ongoing Agricultural Use In The Area. Southern Section Of Property Requires Fence Crossing At Your Own Risk.

Middle Carter (Gunsight)

NW SECTOR: From Kremmling, take Hwy. 40 for 14 miles W to Chimney Rock Rd. (USFS Rd. 103).
SE SECTOR: From Kremmling, take Hwy. 40 W for 10 miles to CR 26. Follow CR 26 E/NE for 5.5 miles. Chimney Rock Rd. (USFS Rd. 103) accesses NW section; CR 26 accesses SE section.
NEW PROPERTY: From Kremmling, take Hwy. 40 W for 14 miles to Chimney Rock Rd. (CR 27/USFS Rd. 103). Walk S to access new property.

Dixie Bluffs

From Hwy. 50 in La Junta, take Hwy. 109 S for 11 miles to CR P to E and USFS Rd. 2175.A to W. CR P on N boundary for approx. 0.33 miles to E. USFS Rd. 2175.A on N boundary for approx. 0.75 miles to W. Hwy. 109 goes through in a diagonal, going SSE almost to S border. Take USFS Rd. 2175.A for 1 mile W to USFS Rd. 2175.B. Take USFS Rd. 2175.B for approx. 1 mile S to USFS Rd. 2175. Take USFS Rd. 2175 for approx. 0.66 miles E to SW corner of property.

Take Hwy. 71 approx. 9 miles S to Hwy. 350, then take Hwy. 350 approx. 5 miles SW to CR 13. Take CR 13 approx. 6.5 miles S to USFS Rd. 2114, then takeUSFS Rd. 2114 approx. 0.25 miles W (will be N of NE corner; can travel another 0.75 miles W and be on USFS land, N of property). Property approx. 1 mile to S.
