Decrease in Twin Release

From USBR:

We’re going to decrease the release from Twin Lakes by 50 cfs on Tuesday, 10 Sep 24, at 08:00. After the gate operation, we’ll be releasing 65 cfs.

USGS is sampling for water quality at Lake Fork this week. We’ve reduced the flows from Turquoise to 9 cfs to aid their efforts. When they finish sampling, we’ll maintain the release at 9 cfs until we know whether or not we’ll get the power generating unit back at Mt Elbert at the end of the month.

Decrease in Twin Release

From USBR:

The USGS wants to do some water quality sampling in Lake Fork next Monday thru Thursday (9-12). They’ve asked if we can drop the flows in Lake Fork to 9 cfs. We’re going to do that in 3 3cfs cuts today (Sep 4), tomorrow (Sep 5) and Fri (Sep 6). The cut on Fri may be 4 cfs depending on exactly what we need to get down to 9 cfs.

Increase in Twin Release

From USBR: We’re going to increase the Twin Lakes release by 20 cfs this morning at 0800 hrs. After this gate change, we’ll be releasing 62 cfs for contract accounts and the rest native.
