Whether you are an avid hiker, mountain biker or hunter, or you simply appreciate all the Colorado outdoors has to offer, there are many ways you can get involved. Colorado state parks have a variety of employment and volunteer opportunities. Jobs include naturalists and maintenance and administrative work and range, from full to part time and temporary. Volunteer opportunities include wildlife monitoring and campground host. Check out the opportunities below for more information.

Every year we hire:
All temporary, YIP internship and full-time jobs are posted directly on the state's career website.
Daily cleaning of campground restrooms, using an ATV to comb the swim beach, contacting visitors, answering visitor questions and lawn mowing.
Assist rangers with projects and maintenance, evening walkthrough of campground for visitor interaction and management/care of host site vegetation, which includes tree watering, weed control and mowing.
Special projects may include writing and developing outdoor interpretive signs for self-guiding trails or roadside exhibits; recruiting other volunteers; photographing or recording park programs, special events, visitors or resources; assisting in planning volunteer recognition or social events; providing equipment, donated funds, or expertise on special projects and more.
