Colorado state parks have a variety of employment and volunteer opportunities. Jobs include naturalists and maintenance and administrative work, and range from full to part time and temporary. Every year we hire:
All temporary, YIP internship and full-time jobs are posted directly on the state's career website.
Assist with park maintenance, construction, and repair. Complete special or seasonal maintenance tasks as needed.
Water newly planted trees and shrubs, prune, weed and remove litter from the garden area. Generally, help keep the garden maintained and beautiful.
Park/boat safety ambassadors answer questions, share information and are the eyes of the park on weekends in our popular day-use areas.
Visitor Center/Office Support. Greet visitors, and answer phones and questions. Sell park passes and licenses and perform other clerical tasks. Staff a visitor center information desk or sales outlet and more.
