Whether you are an avid hiker, mountain biker or hunter, or you simply appreciate all the Colorado outdoors has to offer, there are many ways you can get involved. Colorado state parks have a variety of employment and volunteer opportunities. Jobs include naturalists and maintenance and administrative work, and range from full to part time and temporary. You can make a difference by becoming a volunteer. You can learn new skills, meet new people and visit new landscapes.
Special Projects
Write and develop outdoor interpretive signs for self-guiding trails or roadside exhibits. Recruit other volunteers. Photograph or record park programs, special events, visitors or resources. Assist in planning volunteer recognition or social events. Provide equipment, donated funds, or expertise on special projects and more.
