11th Annual Dutch oven & Chili Cook-off @ Jackson Lake State Park

Saturday, September 25: All day event

The purpose for this Dutch oven and Chili cook-off is to have fun, to enjoy good food, to share our enthusiasm for chili and Dutch oven cooking, to get outdoors, and the use of state’s natural resources.

If you are interested in participating the Cook-off please email or call Darby Shanks. We have a total eight categories: Main Dish (meat), Side Dish (vegetable), Breads, Dessert, Wild game/Fish, Chili, Youth Chefs (Under 16), and Cowboy Coffee (People's Choice Award). The Dutch oven cooking begins at 8am along with Cowboy Coffee. Judging on the food dishes starts at 12:30pm and ends at 4:00pm. Then all food dishes are available for tasting after 4:00pm.
