Roxborough State Park: Volunteer at the Garden on Colorado Public Lands Day

Join us for Public Lands Day. Help us beautify Roxborough's native garden on the patio in front of the Visitor Center. We will pull weeds and hand turn the dirt so that there is room for native plantings. Bring a plant from the list below and you can plant it yourself! Help us make Roxorough beautiful while celebrating your Public Lands Day!
The entrance fee is waived for volunteers. No pets allowed in the park.
Field Mouse Ear Cerastium arvense; Scarlet Gilia Gilia aggregata; Sand Lily Leucocrinum montanum; Many flowered puccoon Lithospermum multiflorum; Nodding onion Allium cernuum; Pasque flower Pulsatilla patens; Bearberry Arctostaphylos uva-ursi; Prickly Poppy Argemone polyanthemos; Harebell Campanula rotundifolia; Wallflower Erysimum capitatum; Black Eyed Susan Rudbeckia hirta; Spiderwort Tradescantia occidentalis.
Please stick to the list, do not get cultivars. The best place to purchase are: Harlequin Gardens in Boulder, Wilmore Outdoor Living Center in Littleton and Tagawa Gardens in Centennial.
