Location
Culebra Ranch is located in the Culebra and Sangre de Cristo ranges, near Fort Garland and Alamosa, Colorado. Specific directions will be provided to successful BSAP license holders.
Terrain
These guided hunts take place in high elevation. The terrain is rocky with volcanic, conical-shaped dikes.
Access
Access to the ranch is only permitted for those who successfully draw a BSAP license. The entire hunt will be guided and all equipment other than, personal hunting gear, rifles and ammunition, will we provided.

Guiding Services
The Bighorn Sheep Access Program hunts at Culebra Ranch are all guided hunts. You must be part of the program in order to hunt Bighorn on Culebra Ranch lands.
Overnight Accommodations
Lodging is provided, though camping may be necessary as part of the hunt. Hunt guides will determine when and where to camp. Motels are also available in Alamosa.

This property is part of the Bighorn Sheep Access program. The Bighorn Sheep Access program provides Colorado residents a unique opportunity to hunt on private ranch land normally closed to the public.
Through this program, hunters can play an important role in assisting CPW and landowners in managing bighorn sheep populations on private lands.
