Follow the trail from the visitor center to Lakeside campground if you dare to venture into our haunted trail where science meets spooky! Paint a pumpkin to ward off evil spirits, uncover creatures', try to solve nature's mysteries, and meet mythical monsters that might be more real than you think. Witness magical brews bubbling and changing colors in our witch's cauldron, then finish your journey with some s'more-tastic treats by the fire. "It's a spooktacular adventure that'll leave you howling for more!"

Event Highlights

Pumpkin Painting: Start your journey by unleashing your creativity! Paint your own pumpkin to take home as a spooky souvenir. 
The Species Exhibit: Learn about the consequences of habitat destruction through a spooky, dimly lit exhibit with taxidermy mounts and skeletons.

Wildlife Conservation—Additional money raised not used for state parks and outdoor safety will be used to support the State Wildlife Action Plan, which helps fund wildlife and habitat conservation work for the 960 species that CPW manages.

Local Communities—Your pass supports our natural resources and helps grow outdoor accessibility and educational programs in local communities.
