About this Event
Join USGS Geologist Jonathan Caine at the lower Nott Creek Trailhead and explore the geologyy of the ancient bed rocks of the Front Range. The hike will be about 3 miles with 450 feet of elevation gain along the Mountain Lion Trail. You will learn about the local rock types and the geological structures to explore what shaped the Colorado Mineral Belt.
