Want to try fishing, but unsure where to start? Join this class and learn to fish. No experience required.
About this Event
Have you ever been fishing or has it been a long time since you "bait the hook"? If you are intimidated by how to tie a Clinch knot or proper casting techniques, then we have a class for you. Mueller SP Learn to Fish Clinic is an introductory class to fishing.
The Learn to Fish Clinic will teach skills like how to tie a fishing knot, casting, fish identification, Colorado fishing regulations, and more.
The best part is everyone will get to try their hand at fishing. Kids from ages 4 to 92 are welcome! So come out and play, enjoy the outdoors and make this a family fun day!
Class space is limited to ensure we have enough poles for everyone, so you must sign up in advance. Register online or by calling the Visitor Center at 719-687-2366.

Wildlife Conservation—Additional money raised not used for state parks and outdoor safety will be used to support the State Wildlife Action Plan, which helps fund wildlife and habitat conservation work for the 960 species that CPW manages.
Local Communities—Your pass supports our natural resources and helps grow outdoor accessibility and educational programs in local communities.
