Monthly Bird Walk

Join us for a fun and relaxing birdwatching experience! Whether you're a seasoned birder or just getting started, this is a great opportunity to connect with nature, meet fellow bird enthusiasts, and spot some incredible feathered friends. We will meet at the Horseshoe Lake Kayak Launch parking lot. Expect a one-mile walk across the Horseshoe Dam. The trail is gravel with very little incline.

What to bring:

  • Binoculars (if you have them)

  • Comfortable clothing and walking shoes

  • Water and snacks

  • A field guide or birding app (optional)

Come enjoy the sights and sounds of nature -- see you there!

BYOB bird walks occur on the last Saturday of each month. The event is free, but a park pass is required on all vehicles that enter the park.
