Explore 2 miles of trail with an experienced park naturalist.
About this Event
Enjoy a 2 mile hike through the beautiful montane forest. Experienced volunteer naturalist, Penny, will be your guide to answer questions about plants, animals and park history along the way. This hike starts downhill and ends uphill.
Pack layers, sun protection and water.
Meet at Elk Meadow Trailhead. There is no restroom here. Stop at the Visitor Center beforehand if you need to use the facilities or purchase a park pass.
This program is free with a park pass.
