Bring a book or a craft and sit under the changing cottonwood leaves as we host a cozy and quiet reading and crafting evening at the park.
About this Event
Bring a book or a craft and sit under the changing cottonwood leaves as we host a cozy and quiet reading and crafting evening at the park. Bring your own activity, whether it is knitting, crocheting, painting, reading or other cozy hobby to bring outside. Enjoy warm beverages like tea and apple cider while finding your favorite spot on trail to read or craft. Some seating is available, including an outdoor amphitheater, but bringing your own chair and mug is also encouraged. Staff will be on hand to provide warm beverages, coloring pages and other crafts, while visitors explore the wonderful Discovery Pavilion on the south side of the park.
No registration required. Parking is free and located at the Discovery Pavilion Parking Lot off of Waterton Rd. The event cannot be accessed through the main park entrances. All ages are welcome, however, be aware this a quiet event so visitors will be asked to keep noise down to not interfere with others' enjoyment.
