Backpacking Basics
Join park staff for a free public program intended to show anyone how to begin backpacking in Colorado's public lands. This class is for beginners and will take place in the Cheyenne Mountain State Park Visitor Center.
About this Event
Backpacking basics is a class designed to introduce beginners to backpacking. In this short class we will discuss gear, locations, leave no trace principles and planning for a trip. Join us at the Cheyenne Mountain State Park visitor center to begin your backpacking journey. Spots are limited so please register online.
