Walk off that Thanksgiving feast with a Ranger on a guided Hike – snowshoes may be needed! We will talk about the Native Americans that inhabited our area. Leaving from the Moose Visitor Center at noon (12pm), hike the Gould Loop approximate 3⁄4 mile each way.

It is important to note that the story will not be told by someone of indigenous culture. The story and resources have been approved for educational purposes by Colorado’s Ute tribes.

Choose and cut your perfect fresh Christmas tree! Pick up your Forest Service cutting permit $10 (per tree) at the Moose Visitor Center and we will direct you to the designated tree cutting area in our Park. Bring all your supplies to cut and carry the tree home! Enjoy hot cocoa at the Visitor Center from 9-4.
