Learn to fish at Staunton State Park with CPW staff and volunteers.  All equipment will be provided if you don't have your own. Clinic will be held at the Davis Ponds between 10am and 2pm.  Park pass fees apply and fishing licenses are required for anyone 16 or older.

Join us for an immersive two-day&nbsp;<strong>Adventure Leadership Camp for Educators</strong> at Ridgway State Park’s new group camping facility. You’ll gain field archery instructor and fishing instructor support skills, hone outdoor team-building and leadership activities, and learn to craft hands-on field trips that spark student growth and deepen your ability to teach responsible recreation behaviors. We’ll also explore a guided local hike in Ouray, discovering ways to turn every trail into a living classroom. Recharge around the campfire in the evening as you connect with fellow educators and return to school ready to lead transformative outdoor adventures.

Lake Appreciation Day is a day of stewardship, environmental education, and connecting with the outdoors. It's about giving back to our reservoir by helping to keep it clean! During the morning of Lake Appreciation Day, volunteer to help pick up trash and during the afternoon celebrate with us by playing games and exploring educational booths set up by local organizations.
