Picnics and Receptions

Castlewood Canyon has three covered shelters that are perfect for picnics or wedding receptions. These facilities are available by reservation only.  

    • Up to 66 guests
    • Monday through Friday: $100 per day
    • Saturday and Sunday: $150 per day

    This is a covered picnic area that adjoins shelter 1.

    • Up to 66 guests

    FOR GROUPS

    Gathering Space

      The Pike’s Peak Amphitheater is an uncovered, rustic area with split-log benches. Offering an expansive scenic view of Pikes Peak, the amphitheater is often used for weddings and special ceremonies. 

      • Up to 120 guests
      • Monday through Friday: $150 for two hours
      • Saturday and Sunday: $300 for two hours

      Castlewood Canyon’s conference room is available for meetings and business events.

      FOR WEDDINGS

      Celebrate Together

      Bridge Canyon Overlook

      The Bridge Canyon Overlook is an uncovered area with a deck overlooking the canyon. It’s ideal for weddings or special ceremonies. There is no seating, but you may bring your own chairs.

      • Up to 60 guests
      • Monday through Friday: $150 for two hours
      • Saturday and Sunday: $300 for two hours

      Reservations can be made by calling the park at 303-688-5242. Reservations can only be made for events occurring during the current calendar year.

      Fees Paid at Time of Reservation

      Fees must be paid with a credit card when the reservation is made.

      Refunds and Cancellations

      A cancellation fee equal to 25% of the base fee will be charged if the cancellation is made 15 or more days before the reserved date. If the cancellation is made within 14 days of the reserved date, then the cancellation fee will be 100% of the base fee.
