What’s available at Navajo
Many of Navajo’s campgrounds are named after the communities that existed in the area before the reservoir was built. Rosa Campground offers full-hookup RV sites with 8 walk in tent sites and a camper services building. Carracas Campground has electric-only RV sites and a camper service building. Tiffany has basic RV sites, 6 walk-in tent sites and 3 cabins as well as a restroom and shower house. Windsurf Beach Campground has 15 smaller, primitive campsites better for tents or small RVs. Arboles Point Campground which offers stunning views of the San Juan River and more privacy with only 4 double sites. Both Arboles Point and Windsurf Beach only offer primitive pit toilets. No water is available but water can be filled in the main entrance of the park. There are no group camping facilities at Navajo but each Arboles Point site can accommodate 12 people, 4 vehicles and 2 camping units.
