Picnics and Receptions

    The Fountain Valley Overlook is a very short walk from the Visitor Center and allows for a beautiful backdrop of the geologic formations of the park.

    A half-mile hike down the Fountain Valley Trail is the Lyons Overlook, which puts you right in the middle of the Fountain formation ... beautiful!

    The group picnic area in the Carracas campground offers park visitors a venue for family and community gatherings.

    Nearby Marina and Visitor Center

    The Carracas group picnic area is part of the Carracas campground and close to the marina. After your picnic, go fishing, rent a paddle board or return to your campsite for a nap.

    The visitor center group picnic area is close to the Visitor Center. Pop in and have a look at the nature displays or browse the store.
