Celebrate Together

Visitor Center Overlook

The Overlook at the Visitor Center is available year-round for weddings. It offers a dramatic backdrop of the San Juan Mountains and Ridgway. A dressing area is available, but receptions cannot be held at this location. Fees for events include ranger time for parking duty and patrol of trails to ensure privacy.

  • Monday through Thursday: $200 per day
  • Friday through Sunday: $250 per day

Conference Room

The conference room is an ideal location to hold meetings, seminars and training programs. Special rates are available for government agencies and non-profit organizations.

Hours: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Picnics and Receptions

  • Single shelter: $135 per day Monday through Thursday, $200 per day Friday through Sunday
  • Both shelters: $270 per day Monday through Thursday, $400 per day Friday through Sunday
  • Availability: May through September

There are two shelters located in the Pa-Co-Chu-Puk area of the park. One or both can be rented for an event. The shelters are approximately 50 feet apart, and both are next to the Uncompahgre River, offering an ideal setting to celebrate weddings, family reunions, company picnics and special events of all kinds.

    Nearby Trail and Visitor Center

    Close to the Overlook and Conference Room
    Check out the nature displays or browse for books or souvenirs at the visitor center. Take a hike on the nearby Mule Deer Meadow and Scenic Overlook trails.

    Close to the Group Picnic Areas
    Located in the Pa-Co-Chu-Puk recreation site, visitors have fishing opportunities at the fishing ponds and river. The Pa-Co-Chu-Puk, Oak Leaf and Enchanted Mesa hiking trails are also close by.
