What’s available at Ridgway
Ridgway State Park offers year-round camping with 258 sites for RVs, trailers, campers and motor homes, including ADA-accessible and walk-in options. For a more secluded experience, choose from 25 walk-in tent sites. During winter (November to March), 48 RV sites and 15 walk-in tent sites are available. Three yurts, including one that is universally accessible, remain open year-round.

Escape to nature in Ridgway’s yurts.
Yurts are round tents on a wooden frame with circular skylights and windows to provide illumination. The three yurts at Ridgway include electric power, a ceiling fan, a propane heater and a gas log stove. Reservations are required and are available year-round.

Relax by the campfire after a long day on the trails or reservoir. All campsites include a fire ring and picnic table. Ridgway has 203 accessible campsites.

A reservation is required to camp at Ridgway State Park, and it’s easy to make one. Reservations can be made for campsites and yurts online at cpwshop.com or by phone at 1-800-244-5613. Reservations can be made up to six months in advance of your arrival date. Visitors are required to display a vehicle pass and have a valid reservation.

When you camp at Ridgway State Park, check-in time is 1 p.m. on the day of arrival and check-out time is 12 p.m. (noon) on the day of departure. A reservation is necessary, and camping is allowed only in designated areas. The maximum stay is 14 days within a 28-day period. A maximum of six people, two motorized vehicles and only one camping unit is allowed per individual site. Please do not tie or hang anything from the trees.
All pets must be under control and on a maximum six-foot leash at all times, and not attached to any park signs, trees, shrubs or hydrants. Pets may not be left unattended, and pet owners must promptly clean up after their pets.

YURTS
Stay in Style
Yurts offer a comfortable way to enjoy the outdoors and are a unique alternative to tent or RV camping. Ridgway has three yurts, each with a screened skylight, windows, one set of bunk beds and two queen-size futons. Each yurt accommodates up to six people. Yurt 10 is universally accessible, with a restroom next to it that is open year-round.
Know Before You Go
Yurts can accommodate up to six people, and reservations require a minimum stay of two nights. Each yurt has one set of twin-size bunk beds and two queen-size futons. All of the beds have mattresses but no bedding. Visitors will need to bring bedding, such as sleeping bags and/or sheets, blankets and pillows. The yurts are also equipped with electric heat and propane power, outlets and ceiling light, and a picnic table and fire ring outdoors. Each yurt also has a small refrigerator and a microwave.
