Colorado state parks have a variety of employment and volunteer opportunities. Jobs include naturalists and maintenance and administrative work, and range from full to part time and temporary. Naturalist

We are looking for people who love how they recreate and are willing to share their knowledge and skills to foster a love for the outdoors for current and future generations. Volunteer naturalists coordinate with the park rangers and interpreters to develop fun and exciting workshops, clinics and programs.

Special Projects

Special Projects

Assist park staff by recruiting and training other volunteers; photograph or video tape park programs, special events or resources; provide equipment, donated funds or expertise on special projects.

Trail Work

Trail Work

Trails Support/Trail hosting. Assist with the design, building and maintenance of park trails. Perform as crew members or crew leaders on trail construction, renovation and maintenance. Design or install trail signage.
