Barr Lake- 1st Day Hike

Wednesday, January 01: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Barr Lake State Park will be participating in America’s State Parks First Day Hikes 2020 and we hope you'll join us. With all 50 states participating, the nationwide effort will help promote healthy lifestyles and encourage year-round recreation at our state parks.

3-mile easy hike with opportunity to observe all types of wildlife, including many species of birds. Dogs are welcome!  Finish the hike with a hot drink and cookies.  Be sure to dress for the weather. 

Barr Lake's staff encourages you to start the New Year by enjoying the outdoors and seeing the eagles. Spotting scopes will be available for visitors to use on the hikes. 

This event is free however a daily or annual parks pass is required.
