BE aware. BE Smarter Than the Average Bear

Saturday, April 24: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Hey BooBoo.... better hide that pic-a-nic basket! Bears are one of the most intelligent land animals in North America. They have the largest and most complex brains in comparison to other land mammals their size. Don't think you can out-wit them that easy!

Our local District Wildlife Manager, Cassidy English, will be presenting about Black Bear behavior and biology!   More importantly, she will go over steps that everyone can take to be smart in bear country and keep the bears safe and wild.

Due to El Paso County Public Health COVID restrictions, face masks are mandatory and practicing 6-feet social distancing. Currently, space is limited to 16 participants.

The program is free, but a valid park pass is required on every vehicle that is in the park.
