About this Event
Lichens are everywhere, but they are experts at playing hide-and-seek. Use magnifying glasses to see nature up close along the trail. Take a closer look to discover the secret life of lichens on this 1 mile easy hike.
This hike ends at Peak View Pond which seasonally is home to young salamanders.
Meet at Peak View Trail. There aren't many parking spots here. Additional parking is available at Homestead Trail with a short walk to Peak View.
