OAK CREEK, Colo. - Fill your lungs with crisp fresh air, stretch your legs on snow-packed trails and shake off the winter funk at Stagecoach State Park’s Debunk the Winter Funk Event. The family-oriented celebration of outdoor winter fun runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, February 17, at the Park’s Marina Parking Lot.
Bring your family and friends, for a day packed with fun as we shake off the mid-winter blues. From riding fat-tire bikes across the frozen lake, zooming down the fast sledding hill, or enjoying small talk while sitting around the bonfire enjoying a deliciously gooey s’more or two, there is an activity for everyone.
Have you ever wanted to try skijoring? We have that activity too thanks to our partners at Ski Haus. Bring your own cross country skis or borrow a loaner pair from Ski Haus and give skijoring a try.
Check out the full list of activities below.
The event and activities are free, but a valid $10 daily parks pass or annual Keep Colorado Wild pass is required to enter the park. Anyone 16 years or older is required to have a valid fishing license.
