What’s available at Eleven Mile

Eleven Mile State Park has 325 campsites in nine separate campgrounds scattered around the lake, as well as 14 backcountry sites. From basic and walk-in sites to electric or lakeshore sites, there is something for every camping style, year-round.

Reserve a Campsite

325 Campsites

A reservation is required to camp at Eleven Mile State Park, and it’s easy to make one. Reservations can be made online at cpwshop.com or by phone at 1-800-244-5613. Reservations can be made up to six months in advance of your arrival date. Visitors are required to display a vehicle pass and have a valid reservation.

Know Before You Go

    Whether you’re camping in a tent or RV, Eleven Mile’s modern campsites offer amenities to make your stay more comfortable. 

    • Visitors who are not camping with us who would like to get water or use our dump station must come to the park office first to pay the dump fee.

    Amenities include:

    • Laundry facilities (Open May 1st through Labor Day at 3:00 p.m.)
    • Dump station (Open Memorial Weekend to Labor Day from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Off Season by Request only, minimum 1 hour)
    • Picnic tables
    • Benches
    • Shower and flush toilets (Open from May 1st until Labor Day at 3:00 p.m.)
    • Water fill-up station (Open from May 1st to September 30th at 3:00 p.m.)
    • Vault Toilets (Open year-round)

    When you camp at Eleven Mile State Park, check-in time is 1 p.m. on the day of arrival and check-out time is 12 p.m. (noon) on the day of departure. A reservation is necessary, and camping is allowed only in designated areas. The maximum stay is 14 days within a 28-day period. A maximum of six people, up to two motorized vehicles, if they fit in the parking spot and only one camping unit is allowed per site. 

    “Camping Unit” is defined as one of the following: 

    • Two tents and a passenger vehicle; or 
    •  One tent plus one motor home (Class A, B, C), motor vehicle, vehicle, trailer, slide-in truck camper, pop-up camper/trailer, boat, or other equipment of any description manufactured and/or used for the purposes of overnight occupancy. 
    •  A camping unit may include additional tents only in a campsite with a tent pad; provided the tents are contained on the pad and other camping unit and camping group limits are observed. 
    •  One passenger vehicle in addition to the above descriptions is authorized only if available parking space exists. h. “Passenger Vehicle” means a motor vehicle not designed or used for overnight occupancy.

    We all vehicles must be in the campsite driveway. Parking on vegetation will result in a fine.

    Eleven Mile State Park is pet friendly. All pets must be under control and on a maximum six-foot leash at all times, and not attached to any park signs, trees, shrubs or hydrants. Pets may not be left unattended, and pet owners must promptly clean up after their pets. Leashed pets are allowed in campgrounds, picnic areas and on designated trails.

    Eleven Mile is open for winter camping, but not all campsites are available during the winter months, and services are limited. 

    • All water in the park is shut off for the season, including hand pumps and pressurized water pumps. No water is available.

    • Showers, Flush toilets and Laundry Facilities are open from May 1 through Labor Day at 3:00 p.m. each year.

    • Dump station - During the winter season (from Labor Day until Memorial Weekend),  the dump station is open by request only for campers that have a reservation is the park. The request must be made through the Park Office during regular office hours and at a minimum of one hour in advance.

    Winter Campground closures are in effect at the following campgrounds:

    • Rocky Ridge Loops B-E
    • North Shore Loops C-E; Day Use Areas remain open
    • Stoll Mountain; Day Use Areas remain open
    • Lazy Boy; Day Use Areas remain open
    • Rocking Chair – #610 - #613
    • Howbert Point; Day Use Areas remain open
    • Witcher’s Cove #807 – 822 (Nothing open past #807)

    South side Campgrounds, which includes Lazy Boy, Rocking Chair Sites 610 - 613, Howbert Point and Witcher's Cove Sites 807-822, closed October 31. They reopen for the season May 1, 2025.

    North Side Campgrounds, including Stoll Mountain, North Shore Loops B through Loop E, and Rocky Ridge Loops C through E, closed October 31. They reopen April 1, 2025 for the season.
