  • Only two sleeping units per site (1 hard side unit and 1 tent, or 2 tents.)
  • The tent sites will accommodate 2 tents.
  • Only six people per camping site.
  • Each site has a picnic table and fire ring.
  • All vehicles and trailers must stay on the gravel.
  • Check-in for campsites is at 1 p.m. and check-out is at 12 noon.
  • Quiet hours are observed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • A dump station is located on the south side of the visitor center for our paying customers. It is illegal and a health hazard to dump waste water and sewage, including dishwater, anywhere else.
  • The campers service building provides coin-operated showers, toilets, laundry facilities (only at Sandpiper/Fox Hills building) and drinking water.

During the off-season (mid-September through March), the following campgrounds remain open: Lakeside, Cove, and Pelican campgrounds. Also during the off-season, the west gate entrance is staffed on weekends as staffing allows. Be prepared to purchase vehicle pass(s) at the kiosk located beyond the entrance station.
