Temporary Traffic Restrictions February 19 and 20 -

There will be temporary traffic restrictions between the Kingfisher and South Platte River parking areas from 8:30 am - noon needed to keep traffic outside of the 100 yard safety zone of the helicopter. Traffic is not anticipated to be stopped for longer than 1 minute. Please be safe around flaggers in the area.

Closures -

The reservoir is closed to boats and paddle craft and the South lot of the Gravel Ponds Parking Area is closed for construction. Find out more about the impacts under Accessing the Park > Seasonal Closures and Construction. The Perimeter Trail is closed due to hazard tree removal and chipping operations. Chatfield’s four group picnic areas are popular venues for outdoor events like wedding receptions and community gatherings. 

    The Marina Point group picnic area is located west of the south boat ramp area.
