To get up to the campgrounds or any trailheads off of Gap road, please go 4 miles west on HWY 46 to the intersection of HWY 119. Head North for 3 miles and turn right onto Gap road.

Red Barn Group Picnic Area
Red Barn Group Picnic Area provides a rustic setting for large get togethers, with two historic barns renovated with electrical outlets and lights.
Hours: 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. daily, May through October.

Rifleman Phillips Group Campground
Located at an elevation of 8,800 feet. Summer temperatures can vary from a high of 80 degrees during the day to nighttime lows in the 40s. The campground is located in a 50-year-old stand of lodgepole pine and is restricted to tents only.

Works Ranch Group Camping Area
Consisting of a camper cabin and group camping area. The two-room cabin includes a bedroom area with a queen size and twin size bunk bed, a living room (with a wood burning fireplace), baseboard heating, electricity, food preparation area, dining furniture, and a large deck. There is no running water in the cabin, water is provided through an outside spigot.
- A total of 30 people can stay in the Works Ranch. A maximum of 6 people can sleep in the cabin, and a further 24 people can camp on the 2 tent pads. Each tent pad can accommodate 12 people.
- Up to 12 vehicles. No trailers, motor homes, pop-ups or hammocks tied to trees are allowed
- Check in is 4:00pm and check out is 12:00pm
- $202 a night (2 night minimum)

Pets are not permitted in the cabin, but are allowed on the tent sites. Firewood is available for purchase from the campground office.
Guests can use the shower and restroom facilities at the Reverend's Ridge campground if they wish - a 1.5 mile drive from the cabin. Bring all bedding, pillows, camp stoves, utensils, and cookware for your stay at the Works Ranch - this is a basic camper cabin with limited furnishings. There is no refrigeration at the cabin. Camping chairs for the deck are a good idea too.

Uber, Lyft and CarShare Visitors
- Please note that while these services will drop off customers at the park, they will not accept requests for rides for those leaving the park (we are not in their pick-up search area).
- There is little to no cell coverage in the park, so make sure you have set plans on how to return home before you visit.
- Rangers and park staff do not give rides back into town.
Seasonal Fall Closures
Due to the high volume of traffic when fall colors peak, no special events will be allowed on Saturdays and Sundays the last two weekends of September and the first weekend of October.
Refunds/Cancellations
No refunds will be issued for Red Barn due to inclement weather or fire bans.
- The cancellation fee is 25% of the base fee if the cancellation is made 15 or more days before the reservation date.
- If the cancellation is made within 14 days of the reserved date, then the cancellation fee is 100% of the base fee.
Nearby Trails and Fishing Access
Visitors can take in a wonderful view of a nearby open meadow and creek, enjoy the nearby fishing areas and hiking trails.
