Colorado boaters have a lot to choose from when it comes to finding a place to launch their boats. Colorado's boatable waters range from the 150-mile-long Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area to small mountain lakes and large reservoirs. Use our Boatable Waters Google map to find the launching spot for your next adventure, as well as a lot more pertinent information.

Boat Safety

Water sports are a great way to have fun in the sun, whether you take to the water in your power boat, sailboat, canoe or just jump in for a swim. The Colorado Boating Safety Program promotes safe vessel operation while enhancing boating experiences. For more information, visit the Boating Safety pages. For a list of upcoming boat safety classes, please view the Boat Safety class schedule.
