Whether you are an avid hiker, mountain biker or hunter, or you simply appreciate all the Colorado outdoors has to offer, there are many ways you can get involved. Colorado state parks have a variety of employment and volunteer opportunities. Jobs include naturalists and maintenance and administrative work, and range from full to part time and temporary. Campground Host

Campground hosts act as ambassadors to park visitors, provide information, sell firewood, complete campground maintenance including cleaning fire pits and sites, and serve at the Entrance Gate to sell passes and permits.

Maintenance

Assist staff with cabin and toliet cleaning, light maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment.

Front desk staff answers visitor questions

Visitor Services

Serve in the Visitor Center greeting park visitors, answering phones and sale of park permits and nature eduation materials. Minor building maintenance may be included, such as cleaning restrooms, carpeted floors and windows.
