Water Shortage -
Due to drought, the park is experiencing a water shortage. The campground water system is spring fed & running very low. Water spigots, showers & flush toilets have been shut off, but the water in Cabin 1 is still available at this time. It is recommended camper tanks are filled before arriving, however we do have limited potable water available at the Visitor Center, if needed. Contact park staff if you questions. Read more.
White River National Forest & Eagle County Stage 2 Fire Restrictions -
Building, maintaining, attending, or using an open fire, campfire, or open flame outdoors is PROHIBITED, including in developed campgrounds & picnic areas. This includes charcoal grills, BBQs, coal & wood-burning stoves. More info: White River National Forest or Eagle County's website.
