1st Day Hike- State Park's National Event: Carpenter Peak

Start your New Year in the great outdoors on this 6.3 mile (roundtrip) "1st Day Hike" to Carpenter Peak with Naturalists Paul Bleau and Dave Thomas. Its summit is the highest in the park at 7175 ft. and provides a spectacular 360 degree view from downtown Denver to Pike National Forest. Enjoy the view while eating lunch on the peak! Bring water, food, appropriate apparel, yaktrax or micro spikes and poles. Meet at the Visitor Center.
Sign up on Eventbrite required. $10 gate entrance fee per vehicle. No pets or bikes. COVID restrictions in place. Only 8 people permittedto sign up. Please wear a mask and social distance.
