Solar Eclipse Viewing
Monday, April 08: 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
On April 8th, parts of the United States will experience a total solar eclipse. While Colorado is not in the path of totality, we will be able to see a partial solar eclipse at Highline Lake from 11:30am to 1:30pm, peaking around 12:30pm. Join us at the Visitor Center to learn about the fascinating science behind eclipses and grab a pair of eclipse glasses while they last.
All of the programs are free but a valid day pass or annual pass is required to enter the park. Free passes are available through the Mesa County Libraries as part of the “Check Out Colorado State Parks” backpacks.
