Saturday, April 20: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Have you ever looked through puke to see what a creature ate? Now's your chance! Learn about our local Barn Owls and Great Horned Owls by dissecting owl pellets and identifying the bones of their prey. Join us to learn about owl characteristics, get hands-on with their pellets, and walk away with a better understanding of the food chain. Meet in the Visitor Center.

All of the programs are free but a valid day pass or annual pass is required to enter the park. Free passes are available through the Mesa County Libraries as part of the “Check Out Colorado State Parks” backpacks.
