Going Batty
Saturday, April 06: 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Did you know that April 2-8 is International Dark Sky Week? Each year more of the night sky is flooded with light pollution, which negatively affects wildlife, including one of our favorite nocturnal species, bats! Join us at the Visitor Center to learn about bats, how they help the ecosystem, and what you can do to protect them and other wildlife from light pollution.
This program is free but a valid day pass or annual pass is required to enter the park. Free passes are available through the Mesa County Libraries as part of the “Check Out Colorado State Parks” backpacks.
